Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Últimas Fiestas Del Torofuego by Elmar Rojas. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,786.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Elmar Rojas have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2000 the work Encuentro con la naturaleza was auctioned for USD 23,500.00 (€ 27,030.14).

Im November 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Últimas Fiestas Del Torofuego von Elmar Rojas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 13.786,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden.
