The auction ended at the price of DKK 3,000.00 (€ 402.94), which exactly corresponded to the pre-set estimate of DKK 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ellen Hofman-Bang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Wailing Wall in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,127.05).

Die Arbeit Scenery form Venerdig von Ellen Hofman-Bang kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 3.000,00 (€ 402,94) entsprach exakt dem Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ellen Hofman-Bang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Wailing Wall im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.127,05).
