In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included the work Croc Lunch by Ella Kruglyanskaya. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,031.42), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ella Kruglyanskaya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Swordfish Picnic in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 113,648.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch die Arbeit Croc Lunch von Ella Kruglyanskaya zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.031,42) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ella Kruglyanskaya auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Swordfish Picnic im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 113.648,46).
