Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two terriers: Study for 'The Half Holiday' by Elizabeth Adela Stanhope Forbes was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,713.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elizabeth Adela Stanhope Forbes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work April in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 142,400.00 (€ 211,339.43).
