The work Nature morte avec fleurs d'été dans un vase bleu by Élisée Maclet was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in March last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,550.00 (€ 3,023.31), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Élisée Maclet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chartres. La cathedrale et la basse ville in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,163.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nature morte avec fleurs d'été dans un vase bleu von Élisée Maclet wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.550,00 (€ 3.023,31) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Élisée Maclet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chartres. La cathedrale et la basse ville im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 15.163,90).
