Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,820.00 (€ 8,219.18). Admittedly, works by Elisabeth Sonrel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A girl wearing Breton costume in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,053.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Young Lady in Orange von Elisabeth Sonrel wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.820,00 (€ 8.219,18) einen neuen Besitzer.
