Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Elisabeth Sonrel could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in February 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work French A Bridal Procession changed hands for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,197.03) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elisabeth Sonrel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A girl wearing Breton costume in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,053.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Elisabeth Sonrel konnte im Februar 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit French A Bridal Procession für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.197,03) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elisabeth Sonrel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A girl wearing Breton costume im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 49.053,37).
