Auction result well in line with expectations
The work French Reverie by Elisabeth Sonrel was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,335.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Elisabeth Sonrel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A girl wearing Breton costume in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,053.37).

Die Arbeit French Reverie von Elisabeth Sonrel kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.335,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
