Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Mesa Rosa Con Objetos by Elena Climent for USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,787.16). This price was achieved in the auction Latin America: Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Elena Climent have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Niños Doctores in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 34,000.00 (€ 21,850.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mesa Rosa Con Objetos von Elena Climent für USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.787,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin America: Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elena Climent auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Niños Doctores im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 34.000,00 (€ 21.850,90).
