Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September this year Phillips in 19 - held the auction Heatwave: Online Auction, which included the work Little Superman by Elang Sutajaya. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,302.00 (€ 3,302.00). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elang Sutajaya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Want But Shy, which sold at auction in July this year for HKD 76,200.00 (€ 8,864.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 19 - die Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Little Superman von Elang Sutajaya zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.302,00 (€ 3.302,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Elang Sutajaya mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Want But Shy beobachtet, die im Juli diesen Jahres für HKD 76.200,00 (€ 8.864,65) versteigert wurde.
