This artwork by Ekrem Yalcindag achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in Cologne in June 2021. In the From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection auction, the work without title sold for EUR 10,320.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ekrem Yalcindag - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Schloss Balmoral: 9 (Castle Balmoral: 9), which sold at auction in April 2010 for GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,085.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ekrem Yalcindag erzielte im Juni 2021 bei VAN HAM in Köln einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 10.320,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ekrem Yalcindag mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Schloss Balmoral: 9 (Castle Balmoral: 9) beobachtet, die im April 2010 für GBP 28.750,00 (€ 33.085,63) versteigert wurde.
