In November 2007 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art, which included the work Erosion III & Ignorer by Eisuke Sato. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 100,000.00 (€ 8,741.83), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Eisuke Sato have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 15,436.21) in May 2008 for the work Untitled & Self Portrait.

Im November 2007 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Erosion III & Ignorer von Eisuke Sato zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 8.741,83) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Eisuke Sato haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 15.436,21) im Mai 2008 für die Arbeit Untitled & Self Portrait beobachtet.
