Auction result fails to reach estimate
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Figure compositions by Einar Utzon-Frank for DKK 3,000.00 (€ 2,621.92). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 5,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Einar Utzon-Frank have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Pegasus fødsel” (The Birth of Pegasus), 1917/1927 in June this year with an auction result of DKK 80,000.00 (€ 10,739.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Figure compositions von Einar Utzon-Frank für DKK 3.000,00 (€ 2.621,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Einar Utzon-Frank auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Pegasus fødsel” (The Birth of Pegasus), 1917/1927 im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 80.000,00 (€ 10.739,93).
