Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2024 Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work Bust of a child by Einar Utzon-Frank. The price achieved of DKK 4,800.00 (€ 4,195.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Einar Utzon-Frank - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Pegasus fødsel” (The Birth of Pegasus), 1917/1927, which sold at auction in June this year for DKK 80,000.00 (€ 10,739.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2024 führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bust of a child von Einar Utzon-Frank zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 4.800,00 (€ 4.195,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Einar Utzon-Frank mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Pegasus fødsel” (The Birth of Pegasus), 1917/1927 beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für DKK 80.000,00 (€ 10.739,93) versteigert wurde.
