Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Egisto Ferroni could be acquired at Sothebys in Milan in June 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture auction, the work San Tobia changed hands for EUR 22,350.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Egisto Ferroni have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2013 by the work La collana at EUR 42,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Egisto Ferroni konnte im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture wechselte die Arbeit San Tobia für EUR 22.350,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Egisto Ferroni wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2013 die Arbeit La collana mit EUR 42.000,00.
