Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction XIXth Century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Il Giovane Vasaio by Egisto Ferroni. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Egisto Ferroni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La collana in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 42,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion XIXth Century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Il Giovane Vasaio von Egisto Ferroni zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Egisto Ferroni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La collana im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.000,00.
