This artwork by Egisto Ferroni achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in December 2008. In the XIXth Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Il Bagno Nel Torrente sold for EUR 10,625.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Egisto Ferroni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La collana, which sold at auction in November 2013 for EUR 42,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Egisto Ferroni erzielte im Dezember 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion XIXth Century Paintings and Sculptures wurde die Arbeit Il Bagno Nel Torrente für EUR 10.625,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Egisto Ferroni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La collana beobachtet, die im November 2013 für EUR 42.000,00 versteigert wurde.
