Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,550.00. Admittedly, works by Eero Saarinen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eight `Tulip' Side Chairs From The `Pedestal' Collection in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,795.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fauteuil De Repos "Womb Chair" Et Son Ottoman - Circa 1950 von Eero Saarinen kam im Juni 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.550,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eero Saarinen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eight `Tulip' Side Chairs From The `Pedestal' Collection im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.795,73).
