Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 660.00 (€ 974.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edwin Thomas Roberts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Rule Britannia! A Merry Crew" in November 2002 with an auction result of GBP 28,680.00 (€ 44,911.40).
