This artwork by Edwin Ruda achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in April 2010. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Banjee sold for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,067.36) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edwin Ruda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Palisade, which sold at auction in June 2013 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,686.40).

In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Banjee für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.067,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Edwin Ruda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Palisade beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.686,40) versteigert wurde.
