Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of EUR 4,182.50 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edwin Cooper - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A foxhound and her litter, which sold at auction in November 2003 for GBP 9,400.00 (€ 13,493.84).
