Despite a disappointment, a good price for Edward Wallowitch
In July 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Selected images of Andy Warhol, 1960s-1972 by Edward Wallowitch for USD 956.00 (€ 794.55). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Selected images of Andy Warhol, 1960s-1972 is the most expensive artwork by Edward Wallowitch that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Edward Wallowitch
Im Juli 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Selected images of Andy Warhol, 1960s-1972 von Edward Wallowitch für USD 956,00 (€ 794,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
