Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Edward van Ryswyck could be acquired at Christies in New York in December 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Still life of flowers with dragonflies in front of a lake changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 481.77) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward van Ryswyck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pink Roses and Irises on a Stone Ledge in April 2003 with an auction result of USD 15,535.00 (€ 12,650.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Edward van Ryswyck konnte im Dezember 2011 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Still life of flowers with dragonflies in front of a lake für USD 625,00 (€ 481,77) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward van Ryswyck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pink Roses and Irises on a Stone Ledge im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.535,00 (€ 12.650,65).
