Walter Greene Esq, Master of the Suffolk Hounds 35 x 52in (89.9 x 132.1cm) changed hands for USD 38,400.00 (€ 35,203.52) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Edward Robert Smythe have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2008 by the work The Horse Fair at GBP 32,450.00 (€ 39,234.49).
