Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Richmond, York by Edward H. Niemann was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2005. It changed hands for a price of GBP 696.00 (€ 1,030.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Edward H. Niemann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Landscape With Richmond Castle On The River Swale, Yorkshire in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,513.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Richmond, York von Edward H. Niemann kam im April 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 696,00 (€ 1.030,18) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edward H. Niemann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Landscape With Richmond Castle On The River Swale, Yorkshire im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.513,53).
