In July 2007 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours and Original Book Illustrations, which included the work Design for the frontispiece of an album by Edward Francis Burney. The result of GBP 600.00 (€ 891.14) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Francis Burney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Marriage of Peleus And Thetis On Mount Pelion in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,368.88).

Im Juli 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours and Original Book Illustrations durch, in der auch die Arbeit Design for the frontispiece of an album von Edward Francis Burney zur Versteigerung kam.
