The work After the Regatta by Edward Cucuel was sold in the Two Centuries: American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 75,600.00 (€ 65,443.21), 51% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Cucuel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les yachts, which sold at auction in December last year for GBP 151,200.00 (€ 170,690.07).

Die Arbeit After the Regatta von Edward Cucuel wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Two Centuries: American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 65.443,21) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Edward Cucuel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les yachts beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für GBP 151.200,00 (€ 170.690,07) versteigert wurde.
