Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Six Western drawings featuring mounted cowboys, horses and steer by Edward Borein was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in February 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,217.32). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Borein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Riding a Young One in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 105,000.00 (€ 123,733.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Six Western drawings featuring mounted cowboys, horses and steer von Edward Borein wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.217,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Borein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Riding a Young One im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 105.000,00 (€ 123.733,21).
