It achieved a price of GBP 6,120.00 (€ 6,836.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 75%. Admittedly, works by Edward Bawden have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The English Pub in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 36,000.00 (€ 53,461.13).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.120,00 (€ 6.836,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 75%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edward Bawden auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The English Pub im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.000,00 (€ 53.461,13).
