Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,956.74) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edward Portielje have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A beautiful smile in April 2006 with an auction result of EUR 36,000.00.
