Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work The stage coach Tally Ho on the open road by Edward Algernon Stuart Douglas. The price achieved of GBP 437.50 (€ 542.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Algernon Stuart Douglas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Finish of A Good Run in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 19,200.00 (€ 28,025.75).

Im August 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit The stage coach Tally Ho on the open road von Edward Algernon Stuart Douglas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 437,50 (€ 542,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Algernon Stuart Douglas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Finish of A Good Run im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.200,00 (€ 28.025,75).
