Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work An open book with a violin, a flute and music sheets on a draped table by Edwaert Collier was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,973.15). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edwaert Collier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vanitas Still Life With A Candlestick, Musical Instruments, Dutch Books, A Writing Set, An Astrological And A Terrestial Globe And An Hourglass, All On A Draped Table in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 506,500.00 (€ 387,262.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit An open book with a violin, a flute and music sheets on a draped table von Edwaert Collier kam im März 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.973,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edwaert Collier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vanitas Still Life With A Candlestick, Musical Instruments, Dutch Books, A Writing Set, An Astrological And A Terrestial Globe And An Hourglass, All On A Draped Table im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 506.500,00 (€ 387.262,02).
