Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Viajeros by Eduardo Úrculo was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 8,750.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Eduardo Úrculo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Comunión Cósmica in October 2004 with an auction result of EUR 65,725.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Viajeros von Eduardo Úrculo kam im November 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 8.750,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduardo Úrculo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Comunión Cósmica im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 65.725,00.
