Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La bellissima by Edoardo Tofano was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2002. The price achieved of GBP 1,645.00 (€ 2,544.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edoardo Tofano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Giovane donna con foulard in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 15,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La bellissima von Edoardo Tofano kam im Juni 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.645,00 (€ 2.544,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edoardo Tofano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Giovane donna con foulard im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.500,00.
