Sold at the lower estimate price
In June 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Return from a fishing expedition, Naples by Edoardo Dalbono. The result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 2,540.01) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edoardo Dalbono achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fuochi E Mare Alla Festa Del Carmine in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 36,750.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Return from a fishing expedition, Naples von Edoardo Dalbono zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 2.540,01) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edoardo Dalbono erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fuochi E Mare Alla Festa Del Carmine im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 36.750,00.
