Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cesto Com Laranjas I by Eduardo Bortk was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2009. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,273.40). Other works by Eduardo Bortk have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 32,500.00 (€ 24,930.96) in November 2010 for the work Colors of Nature I.

Die Arbeit Cesto Com Laranjas I von Eduardo Bortk wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.273,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Eduardo Bortk haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 24.930,96) im November 2010 für die Arbeit Colors of Nature I beobachtet.
