In April 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings and Portrait Miniatures, which included the work Portrait Of Varvara Ivanovna Narishkine, Née Ladmirsky (1785-1840), Circa 1800 by Eduard Ströhling. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,380.00 (€ 18,841.77), 37% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eduard Ströhling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Edward Barr Dudding (1804-1822), In The Guise Of Hercules, Circa 1810, which sold at auction in May 2020 for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 52,730.22).

Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings and Portrait Miniatures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Varvara Ivanovna Narishkine, Née Ladmirsky (1785-1840), Circa 1800 von Eduard Ströhling zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 16.380,00 (€ 18.841,77) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Eduard Ströhling mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of Edward Barr Dudding (1804-1822), In The Guise Of Hercules, Circa 1810 beobachtet, die im Mai 2020 für GBP 47.500,00 (€ 52.730,22) versteigert wurde.
