In the The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures, Part III auction, the work Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1797 sold for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,818.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eduard Ströhling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Edward Barr Dudding (1804-1822), In The Guise Of Hercules, Circa 1810 in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 52,730.22).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Eduard Ströhling erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures, Part III wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1797 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.818,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduard Ströhling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of Edward Barr Dudding (1804-1822), In The Guise Of Hercules, Circa 1810 im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 52.730,22).
