Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work Masha, Lyosha And Fisa Suloev by Eduard Steinberg. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,142.00 (€ 2,378.51). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduard Steinberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Composition 12, 1998 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 103,000.00 (€ 66,161.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Masha, Lyosha And Fisa Suloev von Eduard Steinberg zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.142,00 (€ 2.378,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eduard Steinberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Composition 12, 1998 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 103.000,00 (€ 66.161,36).
