The work Composition by Eduard Steinberg was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 20,986.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eduard Steinberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Russian Composition 12, 1998, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 103,000.00 (€ 66,161.36).

Die Arbeit Composition von Eduard Steinberg kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 20.986,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Für andere Arbeiten von Eduard Steinberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Russian Composition 12, 1998 beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 103.000,00 (€ 66.161,36) versteigert wurde.
