Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Eduard Ludwig could be acquired at Phillips in New York in December 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Design & Design Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,200.00 (€ 909.30) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eduard Ludwig have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Architectural construction set in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 5,040.00 (€ 3,819.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eduard Ludwig konnte im Dezember 2006 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Design & Design Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 1.200,00 (€ 909,30) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduard Ludwig auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Architectural construction set im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 3.819,05).
