Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2006 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Eduard Ludwig for USD 1,200.00 (€ 909.30). This price was achieved in the auction Design & Design Art at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Eduard Ludwig have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Architectural construction set in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 5,040.00 (€ 3,819.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2006 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Eduard Ludwig für USD 1.200,00 (€ 909,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Design & Design Art bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduard Ludwig auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Architectural construction set im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 3.819,05).
