The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A musical gathering, South-Africa is the most expensive artwork by Eduard Frankfort that we have observed at auctions so far.
