A top price for Eduard Dubois - as previously expected
In July 2019 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours Including Works from the Collection of Jean Bonna, which included the work Six studies of the heads of Michelangelo’s slaves by Eduard Dubois. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,117.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Six studies of the heads of Michelangelo’s slaves is the most expensive artwork by Eduard Dubois that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juli 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours Including Works from the Collection of Jean Bonna durch, in der auch die Arbeit Six studies of the heads of Michelangelo’s slaves von Eduard Dubois zur Versteigerung kam.
