Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition/ Composition sans cadre by Eduard Steinberg was sold in the Rebel spiritsNon-conformist art from Important European collections auction at Bonhams in Paris in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 10,200.00. Admittedly, works by Eduard Steinberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Composition 12, 1998 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 103,000.00 (€ 66,161.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition/ Composition sans cadre von Eduard Steinberg wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Rebel spiritsNon-conformist art from Important European collections bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 10.200,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduard Steinberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Composition 12, 1998 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 103.000,00 (€ 66.161,36).
