The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Composition 12, 1998 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 103,000.00 (€ 66,161.36).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.375,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eduard Steinberg erzielen.
