Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A river landscape with fishermen in their boats by Eduard Alexander Hilverdink was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. The price achieved of EUR 2,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduard Alexander Hilverdink achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The river Amstel with the Magere Brug in the distance, Amsterdam in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 26,400.00.

Die Arbeit A river landscape with fishermen in their boats von Eduard Alexander Hilverdink wurde im Januar 2006 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eduard Alexander Hilverdink erzielen.
