In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work Gulls On A Beach; And Another Similar changed hands for GBP 478.00 (€ 707.45) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Other works by Edouard Rischgitz have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in August 2005 by the work Bunnies at dawn, Brocket Hall Park, the Cedar; Shetland pony on the cliffs of Stonehaven; London Bridge; and A country road at GBP 600.00 (€ 876.50).
