Despite a disappointment, a good price for Édouard Marcel Sandoz
In September 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Poissons, 1935-38 by Édouard Marcel Sandoz for CHF 75,000.00 (€ 66,133.20). This price was achieved in the auction Swiss Art Sale at Christies in Zurich and was even below the estimate range of CHF 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Poissons, 1935-38 is the most expensive artwork by Édouard Marcel Sandoz that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Édouard Marcel Sandoz
Im September 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Poissons, 1935-38 von Édouard Marcel Sandoz für CHF 75.000,00 (€ 66.133,20) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Swiss Art Sale bei Christies in Zürich erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Poissons, 1935-38 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Édouard Marcel Sandoz, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
