In the 19th Century European Art including an Important Collection of Sculpture auction, the work French attending The Favorite changed hands for USD 37,500.00 (€ 26,085.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Édouard Frédéric Wilhelm Richter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shéhérazade in November 2001 with an auction result of USD 160,000.00 (€ 178,611.30).
